SmackDown’s golden boys could be in trouble when Friday Night SmackDown heads to Trenton, N.J.
Bobby Lashley defeated William Regal last week, earning him the right to take on King Booker this week in Trenton. The United States Champion certainly has not forgotten the events two weeks ago, when the King had Regal and Finlay help him force Lashley to kiss his feet. Lashley is obviously looking for a measure of payback; will he get it by defeating the man who beat him in the King of the Ring tournament finals at Judgment Day?
Rey Mysterio could be in a world of trouble as well. After a hellish week that saw him lose to Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and Finlay, Rey must defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Sabu at ECW One Night Stand. Last week, Sabu cost Rey his match with Finlay and put the champion through a table; will everything he’s been through make him easy prey, and will the World Heavyweight Championship be property of ECW come next Friday night?
Plus, Mark Henry continued his path of destruction last week, issuing a warning to the soon-to-be returning Batista. Will the World’s Strongest Man claim another victim?
